Beauty Must-Haves for Spring 2025
Every spring season, hot and trending products make way and sweep out last season’s favorites. This is a great time to “spring clean” if you will — ditch some of that old makeup sitting in the bottom of your makeup bag and swap it for something new. If makeup is not your speed, get some new skincare or a new perfume. Some of these are TikTok favorites, while others are my personal favorites. These products are in no particular order, but instead all have a special place in my everyday routine.
Innisfree Daily UV Defense Sunscreen — Starting off strong, we have sunscreen. As it gets warmer, it is crucial to apply sunscreen everyday, to protect your face from harmful UV rays. Sunscreen can be tricky because not all of them work well under makeup or worse: it gives you a white cast, turning into Casper the ghost. This sunscreen does neither of these things, but it does contain SPF 36. I apply it everyday underneath my makeup and it wears really well. I personally have the “glowy finish” formula and I love it. The glow is subtle, but gives your skin some life (which is exactly what I need in the morning). Innisfree also makes an invisible formula, if that is something you prefer if you have more oily skin. Additionally, it leaves no white cast at all. My complexion is pretty fair, but it always blends in well and I would imagine it would be suitable for darker skin tones. I purchase this sunscreen from Sephora in the skincare section, but you can also purchase online here.
Sol de Janiero 62 Perfume Mist — O.M.G.! This perfume spray has been a personal favorite for about a year now. I first saw it all over my “for you page” on TikTok, so I figured I should buy it. I bought it and holy moly — I understood the hype immediately; it smells incredible. It is a sweet-smelling spray, so if you like sweet with warm and spice, this is the scent for you. It is a mixture of salted caramel, vanilla, and pistachio. Every time I wear it, I get compliments left and right. My mom and sister love it too. This is sold at Sephora at full retail value, but I have a little money-saving hack for you (if you are a CVS ExtraCare member). CVS sells this spray and you can apply your coupons to it, so you can save some money on this awesome product. I have done this a few times before and saved lots of money. If you are not a member, no worries. Trust me when I tell you it is worth every penny. The spray can be purchased here.
E.L.F. Glow Reviver Tinted Lip Oil — If you have not gotten your hands on these affordable lip oils, RUN! NOW! These are the perfect lip product for spring. They come in a wide range of colors and the consistency is just right — not too sticky and not too runny. Especially for $8… are we joking?! These became popular on TikTok for being a dupe for Dior’s lip oil, which retails for $40. I don’t know about you guys, but I love a good dupe. My favorite shades are “rose envy” and “jam session.” I wear these just about everyday, which in my book makes for a classic staple in my makeup collection.
Kosas Revealer Super Creamy Concealer — I absolutely love this concealer. The shade match to my skin tone is perfect. They have a wide range of shades, including different undertones such as neutral (N), warm (W) and cool (C). The coverage it provides is very buildable. I would not say it is full coverage, which I personally like because I use this concealer for underneath my eyes, and I don’t want it to look cake-y. But, if you want to use this on acne or other facial imperfections, just apply more than one layer and it will cover any redness and/or other discoloration. It is a bit on the pricier side being $32, but considering it matches my skin tone beautifully, wears well thoughout the day and doesn’t make my skin look dry and crusty, it is worth it.
CeraVe Moisturizing Cream — You cannot go wrong with this cream. Its formula is the perfect consistency — not too thick and not too thin. It moisturizes your skin beautifully and makes it look radiant, while not breaking the bank. The container is a good size, which means it will last you a good chunk of time. Skin type ranges from normal to dry, so if you have one of these skin types, it will be perfect for you. I personally have normal skin, but get a bit oily in my T-zone and this moisturizer has not made my skin looks greasy at all. It is suitable for your body too, which makes it perfect for travel. Love a good 2-for-1 product, which in girl world, is basically non-existent (besides this product).
